11 months-October 10, 2010

Here are a few 11 month updates.  Reese got two "fang" teeth up top.  He now has 6 teeth.  He is still in a size 4 diaper, and size 18-24 month clothes.  We got to celebrate his first Halloween during his 11th month.  He began saying, "hello, mama (he would say it periodically, but now he says it all the time), more, uh-oh, and dog.  He literally holds our phones up to his ear and says, "hello."  It is adorable.  He can throw his head back and give us a great "fake sneaze."  He can perform the entire "paddy-cake"song that includes him clapping, knowing how and when to roll his hands, and how and when to throw them in the pan.  When we finish singing the song he throws both hands up in the air and yells to celebrate.  We did our own version of paddy-cake.  It's the re-make.  He waves bye-bye, is taking a few steps at a time, and eating lots of yummy finger foods.  He actually walked across our kitchen floor tonight, but I'm going to include that he is a full-blown walker as a 12 month accomplishment.  His favorite food is without a doubt a grilled cheese.  His favorite toy is a walker/rider that is an airplane.  He will not walk behind it unless the propellers are going and the music is playing.  He will stop half way across the floor and re-push the buttons.  He loves playing with it!  He loves to go outside and play.  He likes to push the garage door button to close it when we get home.  We have started doing 1/2 milk and 1/2 formula in his bottles to get him ready to give up the bottle.  He is doing wonderful with his sippy cup.  I know, you just want pictures.  Here are some pictures of Reese during his 11 month photo shoot.

As soon as I sit him down, he grabs his sock monkey and paper.

Giving his sock monkey "love"

He's a lover.

"bye-bye"

He randomly throws his hands up in the air and squeals with excitement.  It's adorable.

He does not stay still long.

"Paddy cake, paddy cake baker's man.  Bake me a cake as fast as you can."

"I roll them and I roll them"

"And I throw them in the pan."

Yeah!
